If someone bets 50 points, is that not 50 points back?
eg. at 1/1 I give £1 therefore I get £1 back or at 3/1 I bet £30 and get three times that back, £90.
If u bet 50 points at 1/1, you get 50 points, plus your points back giving you 100 points
If u bet 50 points at 3/1, you get 150 points, plus your points back giving you 200 points

a 1/1 bet means you get back what you originally gave - and then the same sum on top (basically doubling it)
If I bet £1 on a 1/1 bet
I get £2 in total back - £1 for the original money I gave - then the £1 I won.
a 2/1 bet means you give back what they originally paid, plus twice that amount
£1 on a 2/1 bet gets you £3
(your original £1 plus the £2 you win)
I think - so im reliably told...err
Are you sure that's how it works?
Never mind, we can do it like that, 100 points on there way to you I believe...

I'm sure thats how Simpleman explained it to me - I'm sure we must have one or two betting regulars on here to tell us
EDIT: just seen post below
me being a betting regular, yes it IS correct as Simpleman explained. Also, the 100 points was to me, for winning a bet(man utd to beat fulham)
I know mate, I paid you them
Righty, any bets?
Man Utd to beat derby on the weekend?
Muahahaha I won't give you any odds on that! I can do you a huge 8/1 for a draw and 15/1 for a Derby win though!
BTW explainations of winnings + original bet correct.
I'm glad you're not missing me too much, lol.
Odds for Newcastle V Arsenal please.
