Rangers centre-back Carlos Cuellar has been named the Scottish Football Writers player of the year.
The 26-year old spaniard has played a key role in defence since his summer move from Osasuna.
Cuellar's impressive form in the spl and europe has drawn interest from the english premier league but the defender insists he is not lookin for a move.
I havent seen many Rangers games but i did watch the Fiorentina game during the week and Cuellar was fantastic. Many Premier League clubs will probably be having a look at him.
Must have been his save and sending off against celtic and his own goal the week before.
McGeady got the one that mattered. Player of the year voted by the players, not by some know nothing writers.
Mick i would say that cuellar and mcgeady have both been brilliant , the writers know what they are talking about and i think you have just been frustrated by your clubs lack of form

Yeah agreed, both been good. end of the day its still an award, no matter who voted it. Im sure he will be proud to get it.
he has been so much of a key player for rangers this season
Cuellar has been our main player throughout the seson and without him we wouldn't be where we aere. Simple.
Carlos Cuellar is probably the best defender in british football.
To mention a ceptc player in the same sentance is an insult to anyone with football knowledge
Even the most die-hard celtic supporters would have to say he is world class

Carlos Cuellar player of the year
adrian mcgeady sad Rangers hater of the year
