Rugby League World Cup 2008 -
The 2008 Rugby League World Cup not only concludes the Centenary of Rugby League celebrations in Australia, but will also mark the 13th chapter of the event which started way back in 1954.
Since the tournament's inception, the Rugby League World Cup has been taken to eight nations, with games played in over 50 cities and towns.
The 2008 Rugby League World Cup will be the third tournament held in Australasia and will feature the top 10 Rugby League nations.
I can't wait the orginal rugby world cup.
yeah mate, it should be good.
looking forward to it
Dnt like rugby that much but Rugby league makes me feel even more lost :S. Can u explain the difference please Dan.
lol. basically mate, league has 13 players, union has 15. union has more set pieces ie, lineouts, more emphasised scrums. rugby league is a basic set of six tackles followed by a turnover if tackled to ground on the fifth taclke, union is more of a kicking game to make ground whereas league is more of a running game if that makes sense mate
THE TIME IS ALMOST 5AM, AND WE ARE ABOUT 4 HOURS AWAY FOR THER RUGBY LEAGUE WORLD CUP TO GET UNDER WAY.
is anyone else excited, looking forward to a very good game this morning, PNG are a physical side and hopefully they wont be to strong for us english. will be good to see how they get on against egland, captained by john wilshire of salford(myteam
