At the way a large section, perhaps majority, of the support has behaved recently?
The clamour for blood has been as unedifying as it has been predictable.
The undermining of the manager from the stands and the players has made a mockery of the club and it really has become an embarrassment.
The most repugnant aspect has been that thousands of fans have secretly been waiting for this moment, as Strachan has never been accepted.
How ironic that the club which glories in an illusion of all-inclusiveness, is suffering partly because its fans refused to accept a man with no previous Celtic connection.

Celtic are underperforming, the manager gets flack. That's how the old firm is. You saying celtic fans boo strachan because he has "no previous celtic connection" whatever that implies would be like me saying Rangers booed paul le guen cause he was catholic when everyone knows it just isn't true. (although many Rangers fans would love this)
The fact is Strachan has followed a tough act in Oneil and he had the past couple of seasons easy because Rangers have bee shocking. He has made some bad signings and sometimes his substitutions make me very confused. He refuses to play Riordan and Balde although every time they are on the pitch the team performs better. The fact is the team just aren't perforing well under the current management.
I don't want Strachan out because I believe he should be allowed the summer to turn it around. I still think he's a decent manager.
Rangers fans booed there team off the park when they drew with panathanaikos and lisbon never mind losing at home to motherwell in a match of massive importance. Let's look too far into that as well shall we?
So basically the answer is no I'm not embarrassed. Most of the supporters have been great. At the end f the motherwell game chants of "strachan get tae f**k" could be heard. But that was soon drowned out by the whole stadium singing "over and over we will follow you". That just about sums it up.
