World Cup 2010 Qualifying Campaign
the 2010 World Cup Qualifying campaign begins with the draw in Durban on Sunday and with all the joy and happy failure coming from Euro 2008 qualifying, what are your thoughts on the draw? whom do you think will be drawn with whom?

This campaign is crucial and obviously more important than Euro, but we all hoped to have qualified for euro right? Hiya

I really hope Scotland is drawn with teams they aren't used to facing in qualifying like their used to playing Italy, Lithuania and the Faroes recently and obviously want some new fresh teams to play.

I would love to see them be drawn with any teams like of Poland, Denmark, Wales, Portugal, San Marino Toungue, Bulgaria or even Holland.

Your thoughts?

Can Scotland get England?

Hope we can would love to see us gub them at Wembley - "The Greatest Stadium in the world" when infact you fail to get an atmosphere because of season ticket regulations and well the fans in general.

any news on the seedings for this?
Does it depend on FIFA World Rankings?

Yes http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/rankin...nking.html

Latest top rankings here

Scotland now will be in pot2 so we only get one of the top seeds due to our great run in euro2008

That means England and Scotland could meet up in the qualification groups right? I think (correct me if I'm wrong here)
England make the top seed pot dont they? as it's split into continents.

RE: World Cup 2010 Qualifying Campaign
England have dropped down to 12 in the rankings, meaning they are NOT in the top 9 european countries. This puts them in the second seed pot, along with Scotland. So England and Scotland can not be drawn together.
