Villareal
Great season, 10 points above Barca.

Only few seasons ago when Arsenal got to the final that they just missed out on the Champions league final, remember?

I think they'll do well next season in there aswell, not a bad team and season for them anyway, seen some of the football they have played aswell and its pretty good.

RE: Villareal
Nice success story. Small Spanish club from a small town population less than 50,000 taking on the big boys. Hard to imagine them doing any better than they have this year, they don't have the financial muscle to take on Real and Barcelona. Kind of like Wigan finishing in the top four of the Premier.

But you see this in Spain every so often, there are really only two top clubs and if one has an off season some unhearlded club makes it in to the top two. Deportivo de La Coruņa had a couple of good years not so long ago.

RE: Villareal
Yeah they did,i remember that.. i thought they would do well for a long time but they have since faded.

Valencia though?

They are a big club...and down at the bottom.

Thats another story though, lol their manager got rid of the old players and brought in new younger ones.. lol

RE: Villareal
Yes great season for the yellow submarines, i think they get a lot of support from Castellon aswell though as they are so near, Castellon being the larger of the citys.

As for Valencia, well my cousin is gutted as he supports them, they were 2 points off of the relegation zone the other week. They are now safe though with one game left, they beat local rivals Levante 5-1 the weekend though. They have had a few managers over the years and never settled with one since Rafa left them for Liverpool. I don't know why they sacked Quique Flores though i though he done a good job to be honest. Ronald Koeman will be on his way in the summer aswell i reckon. Selling Aimar didn't help he was their "Gerrard".

ZOLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Real Zaragoza aswell, Valencia are a better team imo, just a bad season sorting their team out!

Great player he was!
