UK residents Tvants solution

I am told you now need a username and password to get the sports channels as well as working proxies from countrys outside of the UK on TV ANTS. Sopcast wont be running any of the games that Sky and Satanta are covering on thier packages.

First of all, Hi! i'm new, and thanks everyone for the great job done here!

Secondly, i actually had some luck with Tvants the first time, i managed to watch Derby-Newcastle on monday, using one of the proxies from the list.

Then on wensday and thursday, i didn't manage to buffer anyone of the matches on Tvants, despite the fact that i tried all of them and i tried a lot of the proxies as well.

My guess is that the proxies are the problem, not the software itself (otherwise i wouldn't manage to watch the match)

The only question i would ask to whom knows how to use it, is:

How do i read if the proxy is working or not?

There is a little label "Events" on the right that says "disconnected" bla bla bla, that should tell you what the problem is.. shouldn't it?

ive tried everything with tv ants and its so inconsistent
works perfectly sometimes completly stops the next

hello tried everything tooday to get the newcastle match on tv ants,tried your problem solving,did not work,i am running on windows vista.help for future please

TV Ants has to be the worst progamme ever for live footy, I have tryed every thing to get it to work, And guess wot all i get is a black screen that dose nothing for the past year it's been like this on mine, Just dont think it's ment to work for folks in the U.K..

Here is livefooty solution :

1. Open Tvants ---> go to "tools" then ----> Settings
2.go to proxy tab, mark the "use proxy server to connect track server and peers "

3. Then Click on "add"
4. You need to fill in Non UK proxy , That can be found here :
http://www.xroxy.com/proxylist.htm
The proxy need to be from sockt5 type.

is the proxy is 61.223.98.98 port 11051 you need to fill in like this :



5.Click "ok" Then "Apply " and close the software.

6. Now Go to our main page http://www.live-footy.org and go to the match you want, it will work !

Tried reinstalling but it still has the same problem.
This is what the dialogue box says:

Reason: The half-opne TCP connection limitation is reached on Windows XP SP@ and Windows 2003 SP1.
Solution: Please enlarge the limitation for better connection capacity and through put.

Reason: Incorrectly injected Winsock LSPs(e.g. Internet Download Manager(IDM) with advanced integration enabled)blocks TCP communications.
Solution: clear the suspicious Winsock LSPs by Internet Security Tools or disable the related software functions.
