Windows 98 automatically opens all its connections. In Win Xp SP2, there is a, ahem, security feature designed only to open 10 ports. The patch only works in WIN Xp SP2. Try reinstalling. Also make sure you have no other hoggers of bandwidth running (P2P Client, etc).

Hi, how come TvAnts WILL NOT work AT ALL? I have done everything suggested and still nothing. It has not played a thing and this is annoying considering its supposed to be the best for football etc. All I get is advertisements or errors and links to my media player which doesn't open the programme on there either

Please help me, thanks

tv ants doesn not work with media player 11 ,you have to rollback media players ,media format runtime it, remove tv ants ,then reinstall it back tv ants

yes it does. I have windows media player 11 series and it works fine.

TV Ants might not work because you haven't let it pass your firewall.

Yeh that could be true, plus you may have to set the spyware scanners to a off setting because on most of the scanners it recognizises it as spyware.

I've tried TvAnts but i just get a Pie chart in the top left corner and nothing more happens. Have i done something wrong?

Tv ants was working fine for me, now all of a sudden I have this problem too
