RE: Transfer Section
Newcastle look set to sign USA international defender Oguchi Onyewu on loan from Belgian side Standard Liege.

Onyewu is currently having a medical at St James' Park, and is expected to sign on Monday if things go smoothly.

The 24-year-old has been attracting interest from clubs across Europe, reportedly including Chelsea.

The former Metz centre-half appeared in all three of the USA's matches at the 2006 World Cup and is now set to sign on loan until the end of the season.

Well at least it's a defender, usually when we need a defender we splash out on another midfielder or striker.

RE: Transfer Section
Glad to see we've finally signed someone at the back. Have needed it from Jan transfer window last year.

Hopefully they can pull out a loan striker before tomorrow night.

RE: Transfer Section
I think a good move for both parties,
I reckon Ronaldo will do well as an impact player for Milan
And he is finally out of Capello's hair
