I have to say, Capello seems to give people the oppurtunity and then grabs it back from them. After announcing Wheater and Agbonlahor would get a chance, both are cut despite Agbonlahor seemingly certain to play in the first game for Capello (injury ruled him out.) Also cut are Jermaine Defoe, who lets get this straight I have condemned playing for England before, but the the fact his he is in excellent form but Owen retains his place. What has he done?
Robbo is back after conceding 4 against Chelsea whereas Rob Green still has done nothing not to deserve a chance. Robbo has proved time and again that frankly he is shit.
Also dropped are Ashley Young and Shaun Wright Phillips. Not much to say on these two.
I find it strange that these players have the oppurtunity almost given to them only to have it taken away a day later. What is the point of including a player like Wheater which will clearly get the press talking and get the lads hopes up, only to chop him a day later.
Walcott gets in though, and hes played lots of games this season hasnt he. Two goals in a recent game and a cameo in Europe and hes flavour of the month again. Hes got a lot of work to do to convince me thats for sure.
This preliminary squad being cut down is a farce. One days difference between naming 30 players and then 23 players? Where is the sense in that?

Thats not fair, defoe is a natural goalscorer thats what we need, and i think owens time has passed on the international stage ): He obviously doesnt know much about english players that is why he is jjust picking the same old squad that going back to ericson picked! whats going to change? nothing! he will foul the same as that twat mcclaren if he doesnt change something!
