Saha Nearing The End
Louis Saha accepts that his Manchester United career could come to an end after the Champions League final against Chelsea.
The injury-plagued striker has started only five Premier League games this season and expects Sir Alex Ferguson to be in the market for a replacement in the summer.
Saha arrived at Old Trafford in a £12million move from Fulham in January 2004 but has suffered a series of injury problems.
As United prepare for the Champions League final in Moscow, the France international concedes it may mark his final involvement with the Barclays Premier League champions.
Painful
Saha said: "The future isn't in my hands, but I'll try to make it happen for me.
"I know this could be my last game, and I would understand if the manager went for another striker. It would be painful if he did because I love the club so much.
"I can't speak about my future too much really now, though. It's about the club. The main thing is to win the Champions League and maybe that will change things."

RE: Saha Nearing The End
Saha is a talented player and it is a shame that he has so many injuries. But would any team want to buy him because of all his injuries?
I dont think he got a medal because he has been injured most of the season and i can't remember him playing in 10 games but i may be wrong.

RE: Saha Nearing The End
i know of teams that would want him.. remember Dunny who is a rovers legend, he left to go to Brum and was injured alll the time.. we got him back and he has vastly improved fromhis days at Brum, mabe he is not as good as he used to be for us, but hes still good and better than he was in brum.

RE: Saha Nearing The End
He's gone, Man u will sign a highly rated striker this summer.

His armband proved he was a red - Torres, Torres
You'll never walk alone it said - Torres, Torres
We bought the lad from sunny Spain
He gets the ball he scores again
Fer-nan-do Torres Liverpool's number 9.

RE: Saha Nearing The End
Doubt it will be either of them 2. Luis fabiano/Berbatov appear to be the most highly linked, Samuel Eto'o has also said he wants a prem move, as has David Villa.

RE: Saha Nearing The End
Saha played a fair bit in the beginning of the season and overall got into 17 league games although only 6 as a starter.
I am not too sure if Saha will leave United. The thing with Saha is he is a good player when he is or believes he is 100% healthy. The problem is he won't play unless he is sure he is 100% healthy. A lot of his problems is in his head.
I don't think with his injury record the last couple of years that United would get much for him and there is no point in giving him away for 3 or 4 million. Perhaps he may leave as a make weight in a deal to sign a striker, but if United can't get 8-10 million for him which I doubt anyone will pay then they may as well keep him as a spot starter or supper sub similar to Ole.

RE: Saha Nearing The End
Saha is a good striker but i dont feel he is in the same bracket as Tevez and Rooney, if he wants to better himself and play more football he has to move as he isnt going to get a game at utd. Sir alex will go in for another striker in the summer, Berbatov, Eto'o or Huntelaar which would pave the way for Saha's exit
