RE: Right result
How long before the Liverpool fans claim they will top that table next year?

RE: Right result
However.... this isn't 100% accurate, because bearing in mind the sending offs etc... i mean the sending offs could change a game couldn't they? and the score could change.

Right Result panel is a neutral and independent body, comprised of members from the Association of Football Statisticians. Seems similar to the dubious goals panel.
It's always easier looking at video after the fact, seeing a play from 5 or 6 angles in slow motion and deciding whether it was off side or should have or should not have been a penalty. The referee has to make a split second decision after seeing the play in real time sometimes from a bad angle.
But it is funny that Liverpool and Chelsea seemed to benefit the most from bad calls considering all the talk about Man United benefiting from referees.

RE: Right result

last game of the season was enough evidence to see a ref bottle it against Man U.

I have seen that game about three times since, and the only major mistake the ref made was not giving United a second penalty when Scholes was brought down in the box. Even the Right result panel agree saying the final score should have been 3-0, once you add the second penalty.
