Wade had an excellent 100 average in the final but still got steam rolled :O

Could be the best their ever will be, although that has been said many times before in sport I'm sure.
I doubt their will ever be a player that is better than other players by as much as he is. His character is amazing, always so complimentary about opponents and he is a real student of the game. You can tell by the amount he practices!!!
The way he bullies his opponent on the board and the aura he creates is instrumental to his success. No one will ever win the way does and has. Brilliant.
13 world titles is a feat in any field and 70odd tournament victories. One of Englands greatest ever sportsmen.

Yep as its been said many and many times before..

Im glad for him tho me, as the playerrs at the star of this all wrote him off and said he's past it.. he loves proving people wrong tho does Phil.. and that would of gave him even more encouragement, adn it has , he's now arguably the best he's ever been!

I think its inevitable that someone will come along one day that will dominate a sport for a short time. Occasionally a player Woods, Federer, Hendry, Taylor etc comes along that sets new standards which may or may not ever be eclipsed. Phil Taylor looked spent 12 months ago and he has come back as strong as ever. Don't think you can write him off for a few more years yet. Apparently he is 125/1 to win all 8 major events and he made it 2 yesterday, wonder how close he will get!
