Man united deserved to go through on the night and it was a fantastic goal by scholes.
I still think that united are a one man team though because everytime ronaldo has been poor this season so have united Smile Samuel eto'o once again fails to produce the goods !!

Regarding Messi, United plan versus Messi was to keep him outside, where he is less dangerous, I don't think Messi beat Evra all night,

i tell you what mate he beat the famous cristiano ronaldo...in my opinion messi was playin great last night....and whats happened to ronaldo he went from not stop scoring to cant scoring? lol thats why your slippin in the league level on points with chelsea is because your one man team (ronaldo) has lost his form.......hehe

Messi looked great with the ball in areas of the pitch where he couldn't score. Every time he got close enough to goal to be dangerous he was shut down. Messi reminded me off a younger Ronaldo, pretty to watch but not a lot of end product. Plus did he ever get into his own end to defend? Ronaldo's role in European games is different than in the Premier, Ferguson has him tracking back a lot more, there is more empathise on defending. How many times did Ronaldo head the ball clear on corners?

Don't get me wrong Messi is a great player and in a couple of years if he gets a manager like Ferguson who makes him pay attention to both ends of the pitch, he could be the best player in the world. But right now Ronaldo is a more of all round player, and I would say that Kaka is also better at this time. But I would love to have all three of them playing at United.

Last night showed we are not a one man team, Tevez, Park, Evra, Brown and Ferdinand played their hearts out, Ronaldo wasn't even one of the stars. We have dropped points in the league due to injuries to Rooney and our back four, and because Ferguson gave away the Chelsea game believing it didn't matter if we lost and that it was more important to rest players for the Champions League. When we have beaten West Ham and Wigan he will be proven right.

How can you say Barcelona deserved to win when they couldn't score home or away? They had lots of possession but never really created many clear cut chances.

When you get down to the last four teams in the Champions League, you have 4 equally matched teams, nobody is going to blow anyone away. They are going to be close, hard fought games that could go either way. If you say that Barcelona deserved to win, you are also saying that United deserved to lose, and that's not true. In games between equal matched teams, the difference usually is down to who makes the least mistakes. United capitalized on a Barcelona defensive mistake to score the only goal and that was the difference in the tie. United made the odd mistake at the back, but were a lot more solid back there than Barcelona, and Barcelona could not capitalize on any openings United gave them. That was the difference in this tie, United back four was stronger than Barcelona's.

Well in all honesty mate.. as much as they did play well and create chances... they didn't finish them did they? lol

And Scholes sent them through with that great strike,, fair play to the lad.

We know, we know. You gotta admit, its good to have a resident moron. You can either ignore them or enjoy them. Its win win.
That said, you shouldn't be so harsh on him. I mean, bless the soccer fans and their EPL, they cant help it when brains are handed out sparingly across the pond.

Bring on Chelsea in the final, we owe them one.
