And I really liked when Messi owned Ronaldo haha legend Lol but wait Messi owned nearly all Man Utd players lmao

I don't know what game you were watching but United were the better team on the night, they out fought Barcelona for the ball, they created more chances, Van der Sar made one tough save all night and Barcelona never looked like scoring.

Maybe because Barcelona look pretty but were very wasteful you thought you where watching Arsenal.

The difference was that Barcelona made a mistake at the back, but that was where people said United had the advantage, attacking there were pretty equal, but United's back four got the job done even without their best defender in Vidic.

Messi is a great player I will admit, but he had to do it all on his own, he got no service and nobody on Barcelona really helped him much. United's plan was to keep him outside and not let him get inside where he is deadly and for the most part that is what they did.

Was an interesting game but would have like some of the chances created turned into goals, I thought Carlito played well, he was all over the pitch, another suprise was Wes Brown, i thought he had a gret game. Messi was yet again outstanding, his footwork is just amazing and so quick! And Finally an astonishing goal from Scholesey boy.Smile

THE FIRST EVER ALL ENGLISH FINAL!!! Cant wait to see who Man u get! But i really do think they should pick the final stadium until they know whose in the final so they can pick a ground neutral to the two clubs. i think it is out of order that English people have to travel all the way to Rusia to watch two english teams play. Wacko

ZOLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All this "Messi is Fantastic" and he "owned Ronaldo" is a load of rubbish. Yes he is a superb player, yet tonight he took the ball on his own ran at a few players and had zero end product. Ronaldo showed a lot of effort in both defence and attack. He linked the play well and was very un-selfish tonight. Henry must have felt that he was back at Arsenal tonight, loads of great passing and good linking play, yet no end product. United defended superbly tonight, and the quality of Scholes's goal was fantastic. United did a good European job, they played deep in the first leg and got a good result. In the second leg they got the goal and stopped the Barca wave of attacks. The back four for United were magnificent tonight and the whole team put in a huge amount of effort, especially Tevez. It was so tense at the end of the match, yet United held out and dug in for the victory over two legs. Barca will probably lose their manager and the final is left to the english clubs.

What a final it should be. I reckon we will see Chelsea v manchester United in Moscow, but Liverpool v Man Utd would be huge bragging rights for the winners, yet it could be a bloodbath with the rivalry and fans. Anyway, well done to Manchester United the double is still on for them and Chelsea. The next few weeks should be terrific for football! (p.s. it was great to see Henry back at Old Trafford, just like old times.)

It was a European performance to be proud of.
Wes Brown, Rio Ferdinand and Carlos Tevez were simply outstanding. Barcelona (like a team a bit closer to home) played pretty football without troubling Utd too much. Again they ran the possession, but everyone knows that it counts for nothing unless you score a goal. Yes Messi was a joy to watch, and Ronaldo was fairly quiet, but only a sour fan would point that out at this moment. Do you honestly think at the final whistle any Man Utd fan was thinking...ooh...err...Ronaldo was a bit quiet again?
United battled and showed character (yeh - Rafa taught us that word).
Barçelona missed Ronaldinho over the two legs, despite his poor showing this season, he's a player thats more direct and can help Barçelona test the keeper - but thats no excuse.
What a final we could have on our hands now - whoever gets through.
now you tell me you want to watch the FA Cup final!

Yes, Messi was better than Ronaldo tonight, but he didn't "own" him. Cristiano was quite tonight, but he was less selfish than usual and linked up the play and tracked back in defence. Messi made better runs, and was much more noticeable yet had no end product of real note. They are both great players, but one is in the Champions League Final and one is watching it on TV. As Huzup stated, not many United fans will be leaving the match thinking "Great we won, but Ronaldo was quite so we should all be depressed." They wouldn't care less! Only some bitter fans of other teams may want to point out things like this tonight.
