Being selective as always Ill pick up on a couple of points here.
Makelele was the only Chelsea outfield player who did his job, however, the 2 times Gerrard got the better of him, Liverpool missed two brilliant chances (Gerrard's shot and Torres' first half 1-on-1).
Not too sure about your seond line - he scored a hattrick v Reading and I know its lesser opposition, but he was kicked in that game more than vs Utd and Chelsea today. And your legitimising fouling for a way of stopping a player - now you might be a traditionalist, and like the defenders to have a no-nonsense approach to defending, but dont sugarcoat giving Torres a battering as "roughing him up" - he's got 30 goals in his first season in England - how could you say he cant take a bit of a kicking - his record this season proves it - when "roughing up" turns to fouling, then that's for the ref to do his job - which on more than one occasion, not just today, but in other matches this season - refs just havent done - im not calling for protection like your 2 faced Fergie did - i'd like refs to clear up the difference between roughing up and kicking a player to stop him from playing football.

If we can score at the bridge then its on. Will be very difficult but after that point its in our hands.

His armband proved he was a red - Torres, Torres
You'll never walk alone it said - Torres, Torres

We bought the lad from sunny Spain
He gets the ball he scores again

Fer-nan-do Torres Liverpool's number 9.
