Well, in the USA with digital cable and "premium packages", I'm lucky enough to get fox sports as a standard channel. Without it, I wouldn't be able to watch a single game live. As it is, I get 1 sunday game and 3 saturday games as well as weekday games.

The problem here is FA and Carling Cup. They only show one FA cup game a day and during the 3rd/4th rounds, this is a problem because it usually isn't a good name.

I'm actually pondering getting dish and getting Setanta sport since they show so many games. I feel bad for all of the people around the rest of the world that this could effect.

Fox soccer really is a life saver... but, you're right, you absolutely can't rely on them to have good games all of the time... I've considred the Setanta thing as well... but if I remember correctly, it's quite a hefty bill for that. Therefore, I hope to goodness that live footy is unaffected by all of this mess.
