League 1
Seeing as Leeds are now in League 1, may as well create a thread!
Who do you think are going up? Who's going down? Know of any transfer rumours?

RE: League 1
Will wait until early August to make predictions. Lets see if any of the teams in league One spend any money in the transfer market.
Leeds and Notts Forest are favourites, but would not be surprised to see Doncaster and Swansea do well.
I think Leeds will struggle at first, they have not been able to add to their squad until the administration period is over and the lose of Healy will hurt. Plus every team in the division will consider it their Cup Final when they play Leeds and raise their game. It will also take Leeds a while to get their head around going to places like Bournemouth and Cheltenham. Just look at Notts Forest in similar circumstances, although I think Forest may just get out of the League One this year. You have to think that Neil Lennon will start at this level.
Leeds may make the playoffs and get promoted that way, but somehow, I think they will play at least a couple of years of League One football.
Transfer speculation from League One;
Bournemouth boss Kevin Bond has played down speculation linking Teddy Sheringham with a move to Dean Court while Hudderfield have snapped up midfielder Malvin Kamara from rivals Port Vale.
Leeds claim three Premier League clubs are interested in teenager Ben Gordon and Cheltenham defender Gavin Caines is set to sign a new contract.
Brighton are still unsure if midfielder Alexis Bertin will be at the club next season and Southend boss Steve Tilson insisted striker Freddy Eastwood would not be sold on the cheap. But the striker himself has admitted for the first time he wants to leave the club.

RE: League 1
I think we can cope without Healy, Cresswell and Blake are both great players. However, I just can't see us being promoted this season.

RE: League 1
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see it happen straight away, but I just feel it will be 2-3 seasons.
I have to agree with this. I would love to see Leeds, Notts Forest, Wednesday, and Sheffield United make it to the Premier and Derby to stay in the Premier. It has been too long since we have had top football throughout Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. That way we get rid of some of the Southern and London clubs.
It is going to be a different mind set for Leeds, playing at small, poor grounds before a couple thousand people. It could take awhile to get used to it. Unless they get off to a fast start, I think they will find the going tough.

RE: League 1
IMO I can see Forest and Doncaster occupying the top 2 spots but I think that Leeds will need a season to settle in TBH so I can see them being close to the top 2 but ending up in the playoffs with... Swansea, Millwall and Southend.
But hope Oldham will do well and just sneak a playoff place.. we ave the right man in Shez in charge so COME ON OLDHAM! lol
PS. Dont laugh at my predictions
