The treble has been done but I don't believe anyone has won a quadruple. If Rangers accomplish that, it will be a great achievement. But how are Rangers going to play the winners of the Champions league in a competitive match?

I will answer my question, forgot about the European Super Cup. But that is usually considered a friendly since neither team ever fields their strongest line up.

RE: Glasgow rangers

bit off topic...but
you're 3 games behind Celtic (I think) - as far as I'm aware there aint enough weekends to play them them - you also have a UEFA Cup semi - which consists of 2 legs to play, so midweek goes out of the question too - my question - when do you plan on finishing your season - or are you intending to play 4 games in 7 days?

answering my own question for anyone whos interested - The SFA will extend the season if Rangers make it to the UEFA Cup final - meaning that the last weekend of matches will be played 2 days before the Scottish Cup final - which Rangers are also taking part in.
It's an unprecedented move - and highly controversial, with rumours already that other clubs could take this to court to get a legal jurisdiction on it.
If Rangers fail to make the UEFA Cup final - they will be made to play 4 matches in the space of 7 days.
cant keep everyone happy - personally, and I no my opinion counts for nothing on this matter so dont remind me - but I'm glad the SFA have seen sense and are backing their team in Europe, and trying as best they can to make it easier for them.
