Dan returns from the misery of the riverside (it is a heartless ground, especially when your team plays their on a freezing cold and wet New Years day, we still won 2-0!) Anyway, I was so suprised at City losing 8-1 it is difficult to explain. It may also tuin your fair play league spot, but we will see. I saw the piccies in the paper of the city fans and the police, heard tempers were fraying abit. The police sounded like they were way OTT, yet theyr are still no where near as a bad as the Italians.

As for the 7-1 Arsenal game, people forget that it was a nothing game, after we have beaten Newcastle and qualified for the Champions League. Before the game, one reporter asked Moyes who he would pick and he replied "whoever was sober." It got beyond a joke at 6 goals, but still it was not a fair reflection on how the team would have played if they had not been out celebrating.
