RE: Chelsea v Liverpool - UEFA Champions League Semi-Final 2nd leg
If only hassan would take more interest in his own club (and boy do I use those words lightly, so Arsenal supporters dont take offence).
It was a magnificent game for English football, and all congratulations to Chelsea - well done Avram Grant.
Disappointed as you'd expect, but congratulations again Chelsea.

RE: Chelsea v Liverpool - UEFA Champions League Semi-Final 2nd leg
Firstly what a fabulous game of football! Terrific, and from an Everton view point, also very nerve-racking. Secondly, even though a Liverpool v United final would have been immense, it would have also been terrible for the fans and english clubs as it would have been a bloodbath. Also, I am fed up of Liverpool with all this "Unbeatable in Europe Crap."

Now to the game, and on the night Chelsea deserved it. I was made up for Avram Grant at the end. Yes, he has not done loads on the management front, but he has took the flak and through tough times took the club to the Champions League final. Fernando Torres leaving the pitch was strange, although he may have had a hamstring injury yet that could be an excuse. Liverpool did well to get that far at their bogey ground, but Chelsea were better on the night and seemed determined to fianlly break the jinx. Massive praise to Frank Lampard for a fantastic penalty, and a wondeful tribute to his deceased mother. Also, Drogba did make me laugh with his "dive" in front of Benitez. Comedy gold.

I feared the usual Liverpool win on pens when Essien had his goal disallowed, but really fancied Chelsea when drogba scored again. Liverpool could never be ruled out, and Babel caught Cech half asleep. It was a nervy last few minutes, but the relief by Chelsea was immense. They defended well, and kept Gerrard and Torres (barring the goal) very quiet. Liverpool had no real stand out player, yet Essien really stood out for me. Lots to debate, and I need time to take it all in, but congratulations to Chelsea for still keeping the double alive.

Hopefully the final will be better than the F.A. Cup final, although I fear it could again be tight. I can imagine Chelsea winning the Champions League, although the United and Munich link could mean it is their destiny. It is going to get extrmley interesting over the next few weeks.

I didnt want to start any debates - but please dont let your rivalry blind you.
It's not Liverpool are unbeatable - its were as good as anyone in the competition. You take it to mean 'were unbeatable', and you want it to mean were unbeatable - only so you can have moments like this.
Forget how we went through for a sec in previous times - Its taken Chelsea a third time of asking and in Extra Time to knock us out by 1 goal - that sums up the truth.

Me? Angry? From something said by a soccer fan? - hassan you dream too much - your a soccer fan for a start, secondly you act too young to have an opinion for others to debate.
its good having the freedom of not replying to some members - I think I'll excersise that from now on.
