For someone of his talent to retire.. you gotta be kidding me.. hes world number one and he loves the game whether or not he enjoys it as much is a different story, but he will be back.

Ronnie was easily and by far the best player at the tournament this year, and I was surprised to hear him say he didn't think he fired on all cylinders. The fact is, when you play snooker to the level he does, you can't possibly keep it up frame after frame, but even short spells of unbeatable play resulting in session victories like 8-0 over Hendry cant fail to see you through matches.
It would be a shame to see him end his career and i dont think he will. The emotions after winning a tournament are high, and after hes had a week to relax and let it sink in, he knows he will be back.
A true champion, and with 2 more world titles, can probably be considered the undisputed champion of snooker ever.
