ronnie looking a lot better in todays session. liu is gonna have to put him under a lot more pressure if hes to win. liu doesnt look as confident today with his potting as he did yesterday either.

also the second round has begun with peter ebdon facing mark king, early doors yet with best out of 25 but mark king started off the best.

neil robertson v stephen maguire. the score after saturdays session finished 8-0 to maguire
this evenings session has been great to watch and neil looks better. the last session is tomorrow and who knows what will happen.

Ronnie O' Sullivan just showed why he is by far the best snooker player of his time, if not of ALL time.
A majestic 147 break in the final frame to win the second round tie 13-7 - it was just sensational.
Mark Williams was glued to his chair from the beginning of the days play as he watched the Rocket destroy any hope of a revival. They started the day at 9-7, and consecutive breaks of 71, 60, 100 and stunning maximum to end the game reinforced why Ronnie will be regarded with the greats of the game.
It was only a second round match, but the effeciency of Ronnie's play, and his ability to bring out this genius in him over-powered the Welsh-man - and the rocket sped away.

joining ronnie in the quarters is stephen maguire. just watched the neil robertson game v maguire and im gutted.
i thought that neil could come back and win it but after stephen maguire got a century after neil had taken 4 frames in a row, maguire was unlikely to lose.

robertson loses 13 frames to 7.

the evening games are:
joe swail (7) v Liang Wenbo (9)
and
Joe perry(martin petrov) (9) v Stuart Bingham (7)

it will be on bbc2 tonight mate. normally about 12, then they have snooker extra on after it at about 2am. will show it there definately
